  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease your baking dish.
  2. Open the cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters. Set the icing aside for later.
  3. Place the cut rolls evenly into the prepared dish.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and maple syrup (if using).
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the cinnamon roll pieces, pressing down gently to coat.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden and set in the center.
  7. Let cool for 10–15 minutes, then drizzle with the reserved icing and serve warm.

Notes
