Method
- Chill the glasses: Place the serving glasses in the freezer for about 15 minutes so the mocktail stays cold longer.
- Prepare the rim: Run a lime wedge around the edge of each glass, then dip the rim into Tajín or chili-lime seasoning. Set aside while you blend the drink.
- Blend the mocktail: Add frozen mango chunks, fresh lime juice, orange juice, agave nectar, sparkling water, and ice to a high-speed blender.
- Adjust the texture: Blend until smooth and slushy. If the drink is too thick, add a splash of sparkling water. If it is too thin, add more frozen mango or ice and pulse again.
- Serve: Pour the mango margarita mocktail into the prepared glasses and garnish with lime, fresh mango, or mint. Serve immediately while icy and refreshing.
Notes
For the smoothest texture, use frozen mango chunks and blend until fully creamy. Fresh lime juice gives the drink a brighter flavor than bottled lime juice. For a spicy mango mocktail, add a small slice of jalapeño or a pinch of cayenne before blending. For an on-the-rocks version, use mango puree or mango juice instead of frozen mango and shake the drink with ice before pouring over fresh ice.
